Following a thorough review of its Waiheke ferry service the Explore Group has made the difficult decision to cease Waiheke ferry service operation and focus on its core business of tourism. The last day of operation was 8 May 2016.
Important Information for Explore Waiheke Ticket holders about outstanding passes:
Explore Waiheke has negotiated a commercial agreement with Fullers which allows Explore to provide equivalent Fullers Ferry tickets in exchange for unused, valid Explore Waiheke Ferry tickets*. No refunds will be offered.
This agreement ends on 26 June 2016. After this date all outstanding Explore Waiheke Tickets will become null and void.
Ticket holders wishing to exchange their outstanding tickets will need to contact email@example.com before 5pm 26 June 2016. The number of unused trips will be validated, and the same number of tickets will be issued for Fullers services.
For example - if you have 3 unused trips on your pass, Explore will exchange it for 3 single tickets on Fullers services. If you have 13 unused trips, they would be exchanged for a 10-pass and 3 single trips on Fullers.
*Tickets must have been purchased directly from Explore Group.
